Introductory Commentary
 		Festivals are held throughout the year and can be a time to dress up. Some are local affairs, with bazaars and side-shows, and some of them have large pageants with 2 or 3 storey high wooden chariots or floats. Often there is dancing in the streets or concerts of traditional theatre.
